For a Cupcake Class, participants will receive 4 baked cupcakes each that they will ice with buttercream and decorate with fondant. All materials and tools are provided.

For a Cake Class, participants will receive an iced 6" round cake that they will cover and decorate with fondant. All materials and tools are provided.

You will have access to the space 15 minutes before instruction begins and 15 minutes after instruction ends. Class instruction is 90 minutes. Please do not exceed the 2 hour time slot.

During your class you will learn how to decorate a set of cupcakes or a cake. You can choose a design from our class gallery below or ask us to design a custom theme for an additional fee.

You will have access to a section of You will have access to a section of Charm City Cakes’ studio! Since this space is actively used by our decorators to make one-of-a-kind, time-consuming, amazing cake creations there will be areas that are off-limits. Your class instructor will inform you of the areas you can use as part of the class. For safety and in compliance with health code guidelines, the kitchen area is off-limits.

Please only take pictures of your party and what they have made. Our client’s privacy is important to us and we don’t want any surprises ruined. You are welcome to take pictures of the display cakes in our retail showroom!

Outside food and drink is welcome. Plan on bringing plates, cups, napkins, forks, etc. Charm City Cakes does not provide these. Please clean up/dispose of leftover food/drinks/trash.

Your class date will be held for you for five (5) days after you receive the contract. If we do not receive a signed contract and non-refundable 50% deposit within five (5) days, your date may become unavailable.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your class. Your class is not confirmed until we have received a signed contract and 50% non-refundable deposit. The remainder of your payment is due in full at least two weeks prior to your event.

Classes scheduled within two weeks notice require payment in full by credit card or cash to book.

If your class is canceled, your balance payment is refundable provided Charm City Cakes is notified at least five (5) business days prior to the event. There is no payment refund on orders canceled within five (5) business days of the class.
