A member of our team will contact you within 3 business days to design and quote your cake or set you up with a design appointment. Please bear with us and we will do our best to respond to inquiries as quickly as possible. If you have a specific cake image that you would like us to recreate, we are happy to quote this out for you.  Email us and please attach photos. All of our Custom Cakes are individually priced based on size and the complexity of their design. For a quote, please fill out and submit the form on our order page to start the design process.

We strongly encourage you to email us about your cake! We'll help make your idea for a cake work within your budget.

We have temporarily suspended in-person design appointments. However, we are happy to help you design your cake over the phone or via video chat. 

After discussing your design, we will create a custom design sketch. Custom design sketches are subject to a $50 design fee which will be applied to the final cost of your cake should you wish to move forward. Custom design sketches may take up to two weeks to create depending on when your event is.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your order; the remainder is due at least two weeks prior to your event.

Cake orders placed with less than two weeks notice require payment in full by credit card at the time of ordering.

Cake orders placed with less than 10 days notice are subject to a rush fee of 15%-50%.

All Lil' Cakes ordered online must be paid in full at time of order.

All design fees and 50% deposits are non-refundable.

If you cancel your order, the balance may be used as a credit for future orders provided Charm City Cakes is notified at least 10 business days prior to the event. There is no payment refund on orders canceled within 10 business days of the event.

In the event of a family emergency, Charm City Cakes will do their best to work with you to reschedule.  Please note that any duplication of work already performed will require additional payment. 

Cancellations on projects over $3,000 are assessed on a case by case basis.

Should you need to postpone your order date, please provide the new date and we will do our best to accommodate. If you do not know the new date, we ask that you give us two weeks notice for your desired date and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Should you need to cancel your event, please let us know at least 5 days prior to the original order date and the balance may be used as a credit for future orders provided by Charm City Cakes. We are unable to credit orders cancelled less than 5 days before the day of scheduled fulfillment.

At Charm City Cakes we offer an assortment of baked goods for on site purchase as well as Charm City Cakes + Team Duff merchandise!

You can order a cake or baked goods in advance for pick-up on our Order Page or local delivery via Grubhub.

We offer a selection of pre-designed cakes and baked goods for local delivery within Baltimore via Grubhub. Find out more and view our menu here.

Delivery is available for all custom cakes and recommended for cakes that require on-site assembly.

Delivery fees are calculated by distance traveled roundtrip and set-up time. Please note deliveries may be priced higher due to additional needs such as multiple decorators for large cakes. Any delivery that totals more than 10 travel hours is subject to an additional fee to cover food/lodging for our staff.

We cannot guarantee any particular staff member will deliver your cake. 

Any self-transported cake is at your own risk. Charm City Cakes does not recommend clients self-transport 3D/sculptural cakes, cakes over 2 tiers tall, or any cake traveling more than 3 hours. Charm City Cakes is not responsible for any damage that may occur to any client-transported cake once it has left our bakery.
