Now that the big event is all said and done, I have to say a HUGE thank you to CCC for the amazing job you guys did on our cake this past weekend! My parents absolutely loved it, they were floored by the surprise party, the cake, everything. It was truly the best anniversary gift they ever got (asides from actually getting married).
A big big big thanks to Katie Rose for all her hard work, the cake looked amazing and everyone was beyond impressed by her skill. Also a big thanks to Ben for getting up early to let us pick up the cake, and for showing us around the bakery and answering my cousin’s decorating questions.
Really, you guys totally made our day and the event. AND you solved once and for all the question of “do those cakes actually taste good?” which was a complete and resounding YES. the cake was absolutely delicious!
Once again, thanksthanksthanks! Too bad I live in CA and can’t get any more of your cakes. Sigh.

Please share the attached picture with Erica and anyone else at Charm City Cakes who helped make this wonderful cake! It exceeded our expectations in every way!
We loved the cool touches Erica thought up, like the 18 made out of tennis balls, and the amazing details like the rounded edge of the ice rink and the squared edges of the tennis court and the incredibly tiny writing on Alice’s jacket. We finally were brave enough to cut into it and it was just as delicious as it was beautiful, so kudos to your bakers as well.
The occasion was spectacular and Alice and Charlie feel thoroughly celebrated!
Many many thanks for all of your kind communication over the months and we look forward to contacting you for our next big celebration, whenever that may be.

Thanks so much to all of you for an amazing job on our graduation cakes. All of their friends were in awe! I've already been told that you'll be doing future special occasion cakes as well…..I think I've set the bar pretty high.

Please let Elena, and everyone else know, that we loved the cake!!!!! Mr. Friskey was right smack in the middle of things looking as happy as could be. The cake was more amazing than we expected. Besides Hannah, he was the IT guy all night long.
Mary Alice, it was such a pleasure working with you. From the first time we met you last June, we knew we were in great hands. You are a consummate professional and your company is a First Class-Act.
Cutting Mr. Friskey was very difficult to do. I felt as though I was taking a hammer to piece of artwork. The detail on the pillow was magnificent. The cake inside was absolutely delicious.

I want to thank everyone for all the unbelievable work you did on Jimmy’s cake! The detail and effort you put in was above every and all expectations.
Jimmy was completely surprised. The only word he repeated for the first few minutes was “Wow!”.
The addition of the voice box was a complete surprise (was that Duff’s voice?), and it completed the entire scene. Whoever did the design and carving did a magnificent job, and has my heartfelt thanks.
Thank you everyone for contributing to making Jimmy and Lindsay’s wedding a very special day.

Didn’t get to thank you when we picked up our aircraft carrier cake since you were with another customer, but wanted to thank everyone who worked on it for the awesome job that was done. My wife was totally surprised and loved the nurse and commander we put on it. All our guests thought it was incredible, and loved the red velvet cake! Thanks again.

I wanted to thank you so very much for all of your help with our daughter Sara's cake. It was absolutely wonderful. Mary did a fabulous job on it. Thanks to every one of you that made last Friday so special for her. It was such a thrill for a quiet sixteen year old to get to meet all of you. You went above and beyond our expectations and we are so greatful. It was hard for her to even cut the cake! It was too pretty. Again, thank you and to the whole team for your generosity and kindness!

After the worst snow storm of all time, I made it to Baltimore on Monday morning even though BW Parkway was half a lane! Our Dad was so surprised and asked if the cake was a Charm City Cake. When we said yes he couldn't believe it. He was so tickled. He is planning to keep the figures of the dogs forever!
Thanks again for helping us make our Dad's 60th birthday (even though
he won't admit it) a very special one. Tell Elena thanks again for meeting me and working on the cake. It was perfect. -
I can't thank you enough. The cake was amazing - and I'm not just talking about how awesome it looked. I've been vegan for 15+ years (and I like me some cake) and I don't think I've ever had a vegan cake that tasted as good as yours did. It was incredibly moist and delicious - particularly the orange vanilla. You all should definitely add that to your cadre of vegan flavors if it is not a regular. You know, my biggest fear was that the cake would look good, but taste awful. Thankfully that was not the case. It blew me away.
You folks are all awesome - thank you so much for making my wife's 30th a birthday she will never EVER forget. I'm sure you have a million and one references, but I'd be happy to serve as a "vegan cake reference" in particular if you ever need one.
Once again - thank you from the bottom of my heart! I love Charm City Cakes!
